The New Student Dormitory Project of China Jiliang University involves the construction of two separate buildings, each comprising 17 floors above ground and one floor below ground, with a building height of 69.8 meters. The main construction scope includes student dormitories, an underground garage (which also serves as civil air defense space), and equipment rooms. Supporting works for outdoor pipelines, landscaping, and roads are also included . The total new construction floor area is 49,995 square meters. Within this total, the above-ground floor area is 44,995 square meters, allocated for student dormitories. The underground floor area is 5,000 square meters, designated for the underground garage (and civil air defense) and equipment rooms. Additionally, a 2,200-square-meter non-volume, non-area (piloti/open elevated floor) is included.
