The first phase of Lanzhou Metro Line 2 (from Dongfanghong Square to Yanbei section) is 9.06 kilometers long and has 9 stations, including Dongfanghong Square, Post and Telecommunications Building, Lanzhou Railway Station, Hongxing Lane, Tuanjie New Village, Wulipu, Zhangsutan, Junjiatan and Yanbai Bridge. It can be transferred to Line 1 at Dongfanghong Square Station and Wulipu Station. In the design of station platforms, elements of the Yellow River and the Silk Road are more prominently highlighted. Take Yanbai Bridge Station as an example. The columns inside the station are designed based on the rose, the city flower of Lanzhou. The chandeliers on the roof are inspired by the intangible cultural heritage of Taiping Drum in Lanzhou, and the drum surface incorporates elements of the waves of the Yellow River. In terms of vehicle selection, the car bodies of Line 2 are more intelligent. The screens on the doors can display the passenger flow density of each carriage, and different carriages can be set with different temperatures to meet the diverse needs of passengers.
